Sorry I only just found this email and since I've been being completely unserious, it'll be difficult to have this reply taken seriously.
Anyway, I can confirm that X$X has absolutely nothing to do with the sounds of mu, despite all the off-list queries I've had chancing that this is the much-vaunted (via the famous K MAILs) 'takeover' of The KLF that Michael K was promising/negotiating.
Unless, of course YOU know differently.

I've been reading the Da Vinci Code (with a heavy pinch of salt of course, thankfully I know a lot of it is bullshit) for some weeks now and it's piqued my curiosity in many ways...so was trawling through hundreds of books on similar subjects on Amazon when I realised the significance of JAMC's name...interesting as the Reid brothers put the band together in 83-84 but i'm sure the first of so many books of hokum, 'The Holy Blood & the Holy Grail' came some time later
The theme of a roayl bloodline traceable to Jesus is far older than the
books that popularised it in the 80s.
> Now we need Ray's input, and inevitable x$x cross-references. Off the top of my head, as well as being a much-improved monthly music magazine, 'Q' is the name of a 'novel' by Luther
Blissett (which i've not yet read but own) who has some kind of Michael K connection (don't we all?), as well as the name of a missing gnostic 'gospel' according to Mr Daniel Brown and others. Curiouser & curiouser...
READ IT!
'Q' is an awesome book, the best one I read last year.
The connection to Michael K is simply that Luther Blissett and Michael K
are both multiple personalities. But aren't we all.
