I have to guess this is the station they are referring to, http://www.klif.com/ . It has been around for ages, but now the format is conservative, right-wing, talk radio. They still love the Beatles! You can win tickets to see Paul Mc Cartney, by listening to obnoxious no-nothings like Dr Laura or Bill O'Reily. Good times!!! ________________________________ From: klf-bounces+dgagen=ensemblestudios.com@mailman.xmission.com on behalf of John Milne Sent: Wed 10/12/2005 3:38 AM To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. Subject: [KLF] The Beatles /KLF interview CD Hi folks, Some of you may recall that a few times I've mentioned that I recall seeing a CD from around the end of the KLF's career, a bootleg of the Beatles, which seemed to feature a remix called "Live at Trancentral". Well, I spotted this today: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Things-We-Said-Today-Beatles-The-1993-One-Way_W0QQitem... which contains the track: "Interview On KLF, Dallas, Texas-September 18, 1864" (looks like the Beatles are even older than you thought, Ray!) I think this is probably the track I'm thinking of, on a CD from 1993, with "KLF" as the radio station. Sorry if I ever made people think there was an elusive "Pure Trance" version of "Can't Buy Me (What Time is) Love" out there! And thinking on it, it's more "Mummy" rather than "Mommy" as Bill says it. Does Bill feature in the writing credits of "Mommy Don't" I wonder. > I also vaguely remember an Orb track which has a lyric/sample like "oo dat Mommy/ oo's that dummy?" Something off of "Pomme Fritz"? I;m sure it was the Orb, but it might have been someone different ... > John > > Message Received: Oct 11 2005, 08:45 PM > > From: "Chris Peel" > > To: "'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.'" > > Cc: > > Subject: RE: [KLF] OT (slightly) - Mommie Don't > > > > > > Also, isn't the phrase "Mommie Don't" used in "Go To Sleep" on the White > > Room OST Demo tapes? > > > > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com > > [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf > > Of Neil Sampson > > Sent: 11 October 2005 13:56 > > To: klf@mailman.xmission.com > > Subject: [KLF] OT (slightly) - Mommie Don't > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > just a quick email to say thanks again to whoever posted the malicious > > damage info on the new orb sessions cd.
