Great news, Thomas. Since you already have everything in a database, how about an RSS feed of the latest 10 or so posts to the News page?
I checked some resources online, and an RSS feed shouldn't be too hard to create. Infact, it should be just the same as the current index.php, just with other tags. I will keep that in mind for sure! ..::// Thomas
