Hi John, What software are you planning to use to record from vinyl? I've just had all my records sent over and am thinking along similar lines. Cheers, Chris --- John Milne <john@highlandland.fsnet.co.uk> wrote:

This will be long project, though, with jewel case CDs going first, then vinyl, then tapes (along with books, DVDs and various other acts of decluttering). I can imagine it taking about a year all told. Once I move on to vinyl, I'll keep people informed, though I'm keeping rare and interesting aretfacts: Waiting, JAMSCD4 etc etc.

If you've got the space, keep 'em as WAVs as well, then copy them to multiple hard-disks! ;)
I'll take that 'Power Remix' you beat me too off your hands if you like... :D

Lossless flac files stored on a DVD, and use QuickPar to create recovery files if one gets damaged. Put the mp3s on the iPod.
Did you get the discs I sent you?
