I tried that with 2 cuts of this picture: http://img1.musicfield.jp/ex11/20050626/9/9939_0.JPG I extracted the big 2K part of it, converted it to 16-shades-of-grey, then ran it, result: The whole Compacta family. Then I extracted the 'JUSTIFIED ANCIENTS OF MUMU' out of the sleeve, which is more characters so should give a better match, and it now only gave 3 options: - Kenyan Coffee Bold: Looks a lot like it, but the middle of the characters is moved a little bit up. Still, a nice font too... - Compacta Bold LET - Looks the part! - Compacta SH-Bold - Somehow the 'A' and 'M' seem to match better, but the characters are placed too close to each other, something which Photoshop can fix very easily ofcourse. Personally, I'd say the Compacta SH-Bold has the best 'boldness' to match the KLF's characters, just add some percents to the character spacing and you're done! has anyone tried running some samples through what the font? http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
