Thanks once again for the encouraging feedback.
Please note that the nearest airport (quite a busy one - especially with European oil flights) is Dyce (Aberdeen) which is forty-five miles away. The only downside is that there are no trains to Macduff (no railway line even) and the only way to travel from Dyce up to Tarlair is on a bus, which takes about an hour through the Aberdeenshire countryside.
