Hi all,
Unfortunately I need to raise some cash so have had to place some items on ebay. Pete Robinson book Justified And Ancient History The Unfolding Story Of The KLF 4009726257, and loads of original biogs and info direct from Trancentral 4009725194.
I know this is a shameless plug, but needs must.

Subject: [KLF] "Justified Ancient History" by Pete Robinson
Hi everyone,
I managed to get hold of a copy of "Justified Ancient History" on e-bay
a few weeks ago. I thought others on the list might like to read it too
(if they don't own a copy already) and have set up a Yahoo Group with
scans of each page in the photos section:
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/klf-history/
I hope you enjoy it!
John

All,
Many, many, many years ago, by which I mean about Nov 1991, I operated the
first internet KLF interest list (under my still-occasionally-used
pseudonym "Culf"). It was crude, just a roughly-two-weekly newsletter
compiled by me and sent to an ever-increasing Bcc: list of addresses with
notes and contributions being sent from all over the world.
Anyway, you don't need the gory details, but I had to give it up just as
the KLF appeared to be imploding in May 1992, and Lazlo took over the
mantle in November, making it a "proper" internet discussion mailing list.
It will maybe be interesting to look back and try and document that history
some time ...
To the present day, as has been discussed, Lazlo is no longer really
active, and the list has been in sore need of some moderation lately. Mike
Brown and I have attempted to reach out to Lazlo, who I've occasionally
exchanged odd words with over the years, but nothing substantial. Anyway,
he hasn't responded, so with the help of the folks at xmission, I've been
made (potentially interim) list owner.
There are various list matters to be handled, such as pages of held
postings. Some will be spam, some might be so old they are not worth
forwarding on now, and some will be worth releasing. But note they may be
quite old so you may start to see messages relating to conversations from a
very long time ago!
I've updated the list description a bit:
https://lists.xmission.com/postorius/lists/klf.mailman.xmission.com/
The list itself isn't exactly super-active these days. For better or
worse, most of the action happens in the Facebook groups. I know some here
want nothing to do with that! Not yet clear if additional moderators are
needed, but drop me a private note to express an interest. Previous list
moderation experience always helpful for that not always necessary.
Perhaps this list no longer really serves a useful purpose, but at least
now if that's the case we have the ability to put it to rest with some
dignity. Or, if we still want it, let's try and get it a bit active.
If you think anything needs attending/updating/whatever, let me know.
There were some issues with the archives but I think they got resolved a
couple of years ago, on the other hand the archives may not even be
complete.
Jethro (or, as in the old days, Culf).
