Unreleased KLF Track

As many of you will recall a cache of lost and forgotten material was rediscovered during Jimmy's house move early last year. Some of the tracks were liberated by The Junior Insurgent Transmitter Ensemble for the soundtrack to the 2009 M25 Spin. We have produced a single track DVD sampler and will be giving it away to all the "spinners" joining us this year. The track featured is a unique version of the Pure Trance classic What Time Is Love and was recorded and performed by The KLF at the very first Helter Skelter illegal rave held on the 30th September 1989. We will be meeting up at Thurrock Service Station just off the M25 at 11am on Saturday 20th March 2010 and will be on the London Orbital Motorway until 1pm on Sunday 21st March. Every two laps we stop for fuel and pick up passengers / collaborators at Clacket Lane Services (clockwise side). Well the quality of some of the tracks out there - on Lost Sounds of Mu/ Arkived / Recovered and Remastered are not that good in my opinion. Many of the files available were recorded 15 years ago have just been rehashed and put from one CD comp to another. It seems no one had the time of the ability to do this back then. Many of you own the records but don't have a way to make a great recording. I have a very good vinyl set up - which gives very good results. I have invested in expensive studio software that allows me to remove unwanted vinyl rumble/studio hum etc - I have time on my hands and I love doing it! What do you get for your £20 - Private access to Drop Box folder Files in MP3 320 code stamped with your own name and member number - hopefully this will put you off putting them on the www. I have put a few test clips up on the FTP - so you can have a closer listen I'm testing the water here really, if there is enough interest I'll do it, if not I wont, simple as that. Bad Car Bad Art- James Cauty

A while ago, somebody had uploaded the Bad Car Bad art from a DVD in 2006.This was removed some time ago. So here it is. A video I made in 2006 as a part of a music series. The music at the start is a dub version of a remix James Cauty had done around the same time which was never released. The second part uses a track which was titled 'Beatles' on the cd. This was edited due to being used for broadcast as it contained 'Hard days night' by the Beatles. I watched some of the uncut footage today and after doing the deal, the car dealer is making sure the legal action is being called off (for the bad car not working). There is some really good comedy in the cafe suggesting the car dealer changes the name of the company, rebrands or maybe moves out of the country. At 6:08 'is this some kind of set up' refers to when different people are holding the money and could call the deal off and still leave with the car. The compression is better nowdays than it was 'back in the day' on youtube. This was shot in standard definition, hene no HD options. Enjoy!

What are you folk up to on June 22nd this year? Fancy going along to see Jeremy Deller's Acid Brass at the SouthBank Centre in London? All part of this year's Meltdown festival, curated by James Lavelle. I'm hoping to catch Goldie on the 21st as well, assuming I can get tickets! Just thought some of you maybe interested.
