http://www.fileswap.com/dl/KTJ0ZDsg/01_Waiting.m4a.html Purchased by me in 1997. Allegedly sourced from a KLF promo CD-R rather than the VHS tape. Sound quality is 10 out of 10. This time in Apple Lossless format, but it's easy enough to download iTunes and convert to any format you want. Unaltered file as such ambient works don't optimize well in sound manipulation software. If you've not heard it, this is the true sequel to "Chill Out." KLF CD 7. Dan

Are the FLK too slim to be the KLF?

The actual music The FLK are creating really lacks the sheer inventiveness of B&J in my opinion. It's unimaginative and the production is mediocre. One thing B&J always did well (apart from arguably the early JAMS stuff) was turn out a well produced product. I don't see why they would drop all of their music business contacts and now be making boring copy & paste music that sounds like it was made in Reason. The use of samples and editing by Cauty on "Space" outstrips this FLK stuff by a few lightyears - and that was 20 years ago. I just think if this was actually B&J they would have pulled out all the stops, and come out with something, well.. better!

Digest mode????

Wow, I thought digest mode would be 1-2 messages daily. Not 1-2 messages every 42 minutes. 7 Digests in a 3 hour span this morning. I might as well not use digest if I get 1-2 messages in each one.

Honestly - I don't think that Bill's books (which are in fact quite well-written imo) or 17 or Jimmy's art pranks would have ever caught my attention, without their KLF past. To put their fans down (and they aren't legion - 19 years after they left the music business) means for me that they neglect those people who made their current activities possible. Are the FLK too slim to be the KLF?

Has anyone commented on the physical appearance of The FLK? Jimmy carries a bit of a paunch these days, and Bill isn't as slim as he used be either. The cow-headed FLK duo look like they're closer to 25 than 55. Anyhow, the whole thing looks like an obvious rip-off to me, lacking both the polish and originality that B&J display in even their most recent works (Riot In A Jam Jar etc). The folly of two guys who still live rent free with their parents perhaps? Mark H.

I know this is some what non-klf related, but does anyone have a full copy of this demo? I'm dying to hear it. Someone on the "We Are the Music Makers" forums uploaded it a few years ago on mediafire. Unfortunately, the second part has been removed and only the first and third parts of the RAR file remain. I can't contact him because you have to pay to use those forums. Thanks -Mark
