Once again, this guy is a long time, very trusted member of the list and I don't remember what the details were, but it probably came down to whomever originally pressed the thing realized what he had when the band broke-up and banged out a few more off the books. I have heard whisperings of at least three other Pure Trance recordings in existence but only time will tell if this is indeed true. I've not heard them and know nothing about them...only rumors. I have the Black Pope recording somewhere (I use it on my podcast, Radio Clash for the 'This is a Human Radio Station!'...the Black Pope was the sample used all over Chill Out, it's some random guy on a public access radio station ranting about how he's famous up and down the east coast. No-one has ever worked out who that really was... Loophole Request - TWR - Motion Picture - ReRip

The version that has made it to DvD is good, certainly better than several AVI or MPG versions floating around on the internet, but I think it could be improved. I don't want to offend anyone, as I couldn't be more grateful for the DvD I have, it made the creation of Ford Shrinelord so much easier. But... The transfer demonstrates a lot of artefacting, particularly on panning shots, which I am certain were not present on the original tapes. The artefacting I see is often associated with digital conversions, and turns straight edges into jagged lines during camera movement or panning shots. This demonstration on one of the oldest viral AVIs I can remember, shows what I am referring to.
