Hmm ... there has been at least two copies appear in the US (each with exactly the same wording and the same type face). Various searches of "Samurai" and "Madrugada Eterna" turn up a big Google zero, too. :-( The seller here seems a bit vague about postage (and the price is extortionate). I also have a mix somewhere that sounds like a three/four minute demo for the original 1988 mix. I shall have to dig it out and "up" it somewhere for people to hear. My first thought would be to launch into the meat of the track early on - cutting out everything from about 16s to 57sec. Keep a little of the intro, but then the beat kicks in early on. It sounds like you compressed the first minute into about 30s, which is more pleasing to listen to. I think, however, your edit into what I call the meat of the track at 32s sounds a little abrupt but I've messed with it and I'm not sure how to make to sound smoother with what you've done to the first half minute of the track. I chose my edit because after Whitney sings her heart out at 5.58 the next bit is so drastic an edit you could jump to there from virtually anywhere. However I agree that the Whitney vocal with the hihats you include is more pleasing to the ears than the earlier version which I use. FYI - I also wound up replacing the trumpet bit which turns up at 46 seconds from the end of either cut or the original. There's a high pitched tone at the start of it which annoys me so I just dropped in a loop from an earlier part of the track. -paul

Hey Rob, I don't have an ftp client right now but hoping to get one and upload some stuff soon...can you confirm if CuteFTP and FlashFXP work with your server? I think you blocked on or both of them a while back but they are the only ones i've used in the past.
