Exact points mentioned will differ from your rips: Cut out the following: - approx 3.18 after Whitney sings the last "With somebody who loves me" and just before it goes into Mission Impossible. TO - approx 5.58. Whitney sings the same line, cut at the very end of this, leaving the "UUHHH!" and the breakdown, etc which follows. So, the first 3.18 and the last 1.08. total time of the edit: 4.26. This brings the time of the CD down to 76.12. (problem is, it still leaves the cd 1.12 too long to include Build a Fire, dammit. But Go to Sleep fits. hmmm) *** The 3am Pure Trance edit is a little redundant as well since it sounds more like Live at the SSL than WTIL Power sounds like Trancentral. If that made sense. That'll free up 3.5 mins. -paul

"Token" EP update

There is some good news and - as with most things in life - some bad news about the Transit Kings EP, according to the Orb website. The good news is that they got a picture of the EP's artwork online, along with some short but still promising notes about the upcoming album. Bad news is that - like before - it has again been rescheduled, this time for June 20th. There is still something good about this post, though, since this is the first time one of the official sites involved in its making have given a precise date rather than a "oh, somewhere around that month...". To ease the long waiting time, Kompakt will release the next Orb EP, "Komfort", on June 6th, the original release date of "Token", so we will certainly not run out of Orb here! Just typing off articles and reviews that are not online yet, I came across this one - you HAVE to read it, trust me! Don't know if it's the best or worst I have come across yet... --- The Face (?), 1991-??-?? By chance, BIT supportes the Misties at the Great Yarmouth Winter Gardens, and for Gil and Jimmy it was love at first sight. After the gig, the pair drove off into the sunset but got lost in a freak snow storm on the A127. Lost on the Essex moors, they were suddenly engulfed by swirling lights and thunderous noise; they had disturbed The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu and were forced to take part in humiliating, mind-bending ceremonies. Now they're back with their most commercial release to date. Deeply rave-ish, any song on The White Room could follow 'What Time Is Love' and '3AM Eternal' into the charts, even if they haven't got samples as commercially arresting as Wanda Dee's 'Make You Sweat', that fronts 'What Time Is Love'. You get the daft 'Church Of The KLF', the cod-reggae of 'No More Tears', the soul-fired 'Make It Rain' and the (probable) next hit 'Last Train To Transcentral'. Their use of rappers like MC Bello (from the Outlaw Posse) and singers Ricardo and 'The Real Maxine' Harvey add credibility to what is, after all, the rantings of two old white nutters in serious need of treatment. Perfect dance musicians with a hard-core beat and a ludicrous edge, The KLF have got pop's ball and they're puncturing it with humour and energy. If the original LOS is uploaded, can we make sure they are the complete tracks, and not the 'cut off' tracks hosted on KLF.de a while back? (I know that wasn't your fault Thomas!) I spoke to thecrazyisraeli recently who has an 'original' copy but he isn't on this list, unless he lurks under a different name =) But I know at list one list regular has a copy, who furthermore copied it for me but due to some technical hitch a couple of the tracks on my copy have glitches. If that list member would like to upload to the ftp i'm sure no-one would complain =) I can certainly add a fairly decent scan of the cd cover/sticky label i got from thecrazyisraeli anyway tbc. I think you mentioned this about a year back but wouldn't elaborate. Does it contain such track titles as 'UFO To Trancentral' and 'Baton Rouge Rock'? I've also seen mention of a 'Deeo Shit' bootleg Can you upload? =) tbc. Visit to 55 Jeffreys Road, London, SW6

Hi everyone, I returned from London on Wednesday - thanks for the many visiting tips! Unfortunately, I brought home a dose of the flu (along with a few records), so have been laying low the last few days. My partner and I visited Trancentral last Sunday morning. It was a beautiful sunny day, and I managed to get several photos and even a few seconds of film footage on my digital camera. I'll be uploading these to "KLF History" soon. Since coming home, I've watched the foootage of Trancentral from "The White Room" movie and also the start of the 1995 K-Foundation doc (the bit dated 1989). I can't help noticing (a) in TWR you can see a second Ford Timelord sitting parked in the front garden, as well as what looks like a Transit van parked in darkness further up the street with a KLF insignia on it; and (b) in the documentary, the second Ford Timelord can be spotted again in the front garden of 55 Jeffreys Road (in both bits of footage, the WGU 18G reg motor is also present).
