This, however, is a really good point, since "After The Love" has been released in 1989. Since the Blue Danube Orbital remix of 3AM got released in May 1989, Mummy Don't was probably recorded earlier that year. Unless of course Mummy Don't is a remix of 3AM instead. ..::// Thomas

Blacksmoke'd Herbie on DVD

Herbie Fully Loaded came out on DVD today and I took the 3 yr old to pick it up (with much excitement on his part). I'm just posting to confirm that the Blacksmoke "Herbie Fully Loaded Remix" does appear in the movie -- at the very end of the credits -- in a pseudo 5.1 mix. That is, some of the zooming noises and car horn honks appear in the rear channels, but all the music takes place up front. -paul

Hmm ... I suppose. But at the risk of being a bit "pop culture anal", eighties retro to me means things like Marylin Manson covering "Tainted Love", "Donnie Darko" or - yes - "Relax" or "I Shot JR" t-shirts worn in fun pubs. Again, this might be just the UK, but the KLF are more "early nineties" than eighties. Recently there's been lots of bands and musicians from that era (Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, House of Love, Butler and Anderson, the La's - even Cauty working with Paterson again, I suppose) getting back together, mostly to entertain fans who were still in primary school when the eighties were at their full FGTH blast. The high-fashion nineties revival is yet to come - and KLF t-shirts just look very, very old rather than retrochic (imho). At the moment, 1991 is still not trendy ... I know there are several places where you can get your own custom tshirts (like many list members made their own KLF shirts), but - do you know of a place where you could get printed something on boxer shorts? I thought about getting myself some white shorts with the KLF's 12" logo printed on them in large friendly letters... ;-) ..::// Thomas
