But if you don't have the funds you can mimic my edit of Whitney I literally just completed, tho I think I'll trim it a little shorter, just not sure where. Exact points mentioned will differ from your rips: Cut out the following: - approx 3.18 after Whitney sings the last "With somebody who loves me" and just before it goes into Mission Impossible. TO - approx 5.58. Whitney sings the same line, cut at the very end of this, leaving the "UUHHH!" and the breakdown, etc which follows. So, the first 3.18 and the last 1.08. total time of the edit: 4.26. This brings the time of the CD down to 76.12. (problem is, it still leaves the cd 1.12 too long to include Build a Fire, dammit. But Go to Sleep fits. hmmm) *** The 3am Pure Trance edit is a little redundant as well since it sounds more like Live at the SSL than WTIL Power sounds like Trancentral. If that made sense. That'll free up 3.5 mins. -paul

"Record Collector" Feb '05 WTIL (Monster Attack Mix)

This month's edition features "Great Post '88 Rarities" (things like the first Radiohead or Coldplay CD EPs, and the unreleased Nirvana single, etc. etc) and hidden amongst them is "WTIL (Monster Attack Mix)". It states its value as being £500+, and there only being 3 copies in existence. No mention is made of "Pure Trance 3" and its appearance on the b-side, but there is a quote from a "chat room" - someone bemoaning the fact that they will never get hold of copy because it is so rare. Is this quote from this mailing list, I wonder? I suspect not, because most people here will have it from the ftp, or on "Ultra Rare Trax" or even, for those lucky enough, KLF6T. The copy fo "1987" that went for over £2000 (!) is also mentioned in their "ebay-watch". For whoever made those DVDs of The work (2 DVDs) and The White Room, were there ever NTSC copies made? For some reason I missed the initial offering when it was going on and I've been seeing a few PAL copies floating around on ebay, but I'd be happy to buy NTSC copies if anyone on here has any! -- necco
