hi there, i´m also new to the list as it took me a pretty long time to get in touch with all this internet-stuff, mailinglists and - most of all - ebay. being klf-addicted for more than ten years now i got fevered again watching all these love trance or monster-attack-mixes on ebay. although in the last years there wasn´t too much happening at trancentral (at least that´s what i thought) it only took a little something to be infected again... actually i never met another klf-junkie before, so is there anybody going to the upcoming record-fair in duesseldorf / germany next sunday (i mean just to say hi) ??? greetings, michael __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? ...not that I'm saying anything that we're not already aware of. Anyway, they had this show called Ultra-Sound on about 2-hit wonders and they did a segment on the KLF. (I thought that WTIL cracked the top 100?) Most of the "experts" were totally full of smegma, saying that there "were no personalities behind the KLF" they were "more of the faceless euro disco acts that came to the US to get rich." It was pretty bad. Only the Rolling Stone guy, Rob Sheffield reviewer had any clue. He said that the KLF were two art-school boys who got Tammy Wynette to sing about an ice-cream van...now that's art!" Even though the segment was short, the Spin reviewer obviously knew what the producer of the show didn't, that the KLF had a long and storied history. No personalities??? The KLF were pretty much all personality. I mean, they were compared to Snap! Ah well...
