A viewing will be held TODAY November 7th, 2023, from 6:00 till 8:00 pm.

Graveside services will be held November 8th, 2023, at 11:00.

Location is Memorial Estates Redwood 6500 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville Utah

It is with a sad heart that my son, Derrick Owen Cole “DOC” has passed away October 16th, 2023.

He started his journey on March 12th, 1982.

Derrick had a zest for life and left no stone, hill, or mountain untouched. He had adventure through & through.

Even if there was that pang in his gut, he did it anyway. His journey took him in many directions like meeting lifelong friends,

the beautiful outdoors, and maybe places he should’ve been. That would be Derrick and sharing those experiences with all of us.

Along with the outdoors, his talent for photography was beyond impressive.

He didn’t have professional equipment, just his cell phone.
