Well, I am still absolutely STUNNED over last Saturday’s event to help Shane Martin’s Family situation.. SUCCESSFUL is an understatement!!, Way over $8000.00 in cash and checks were presented the Shane and Rachelle at the close of the show. Yes, Boxes of tissues were needed.. No dry eyes.. !! and, there is more coming in thru Venmo!! …
As busy as we get daily, weekly, all it takes is an event like this to remind/refresh as to WHY we do this crazy Hobby (Addiction) that we all do and LOVE! With all the bad in the world today.. and then something as wonderful as this comes along, it re-news our faith that compassion in humanity. Manners, Ethics, Manners, faith and trust, are still very much alive, ..
and in reality , are doing very well, as you can see!!
Just saying THANK YOU is not near what is in our hearts.. However, … THANK YOU to you and everyone who supported this event in any way.. 13 events just on last Saturday goes to show you.. Something is working!

Thinking back, to the days when we would have 1 or 3 shows, IN A WEEK!, Now, I believe this week alone, there are now 27 events and counting! Are the Scouts now offering merit badges on having/hosting a Car Show? Well, we all must be doing something RIGHT when so many want to do a Car Show.. As “they say” Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right ???
Over the years, we have all watched as very successful shows are taken over by someone other than “Car People” .. and the change is sometimes fatal. Car Events should always be managed by Car People! That is my “learned” opinion. More than a few times, I have seen events with 400+ registration, taken over by someone who can “do it better” and registration drops to 40.. Well, they broke it, they have to fix it! .. Most every “newly re-born” events are knowingly or un-knowingly placed on the same day as long existing, successful community/Charity fundraising events…
Everyone just has to realize.. The CONTINUED success of ANY event, … is entirely UP TO YOU!.. Do your homework !!, Where is the money going? Is the event legitimate? Again,, The continued SUCCESS of any event is in your hands..

Events this week PENDING Mother Natures Blessing and APPROVAL are,,, Garage Grill in Draper on Tuesday, BurgerStop in LayTon Wednesday, Valley Fair Mall in WVC on Thursday,, Then on Friday, We are hosting a Heber Car Show POT LUCK WELCOME Party in the park, Heber City, We furnish the Burgers and Dogs, you bring your appetite and something POT LUCK!
Saturdays Show in Heber City’s Park has been successfully running for 31 years,, and ALL because of your support! Funds raised are donated to the Utah 10-33 Foundation for families of fallen officers, and the Alzheimer’s Assoc. We have prizes/games/awards/dashplaques and FUN!

FORD NASCAR 2004 # 17 This NASCAR race car (original chassis number: JR-93) was originally raced by Matt Kenseth in the 2004 Nextel Cup series.
