Greetings Everyone. We have lost yet another Wonderful Friend. I have fond memories of Bill attending our events for years.. I still have a nice smile when I remember Bill and his Son In one of their old '50 Plymouths, and the two of them SLEEPING in a small teardrop trailer. Memories like this are GOLDEN, and should be cherished forever. Some are never lucky enough to share experiences like that, with their Dad. Our Thoughts and sincere Condolences, to all his Family, and Family of FRIENDS! Bill Kyle Ward 1935 ~ 2023 Bill Ward, was involved in a lot of car shows with his two (red and blue) 1950 Plymouths. He wanted his friends to be notified when he passed away. He died peacefully at home in Sandy, Utah, this last Friday, January 20. Ward passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the age of 87 after a valiant fight against cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife (Betty), Son (Rick), Brother (Darrel David Ward), Sister (Jeaneen Lanell Ward Swartz), and his parents. He is survived by four handsome sons, 14 charming grandchildren, and 25 adoring great grandchildren. Bill Ward lived his youth in Albuquerque NM, Santo TX, Gallup NM, and Las Vegas NV. In the mid-1950's he attended Brigham Young University, where he met Betty Ann Allen. He and his sweetheart were wed September 1, 1955, in the Idaho Falls temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints They were married 57 years before she passed in 2012. Together they had five sons: Richard Kyle (Angie), Raymond Kelly (Diane), Randall Kay (Robin), Roy Kendall, and Russell Kevan Ward. Bill was a child during the Great Depression and World War II and learned some of the best characteristics of those times: frugality, hard work, loyalty, and common sense, to name a few. He was noble and had noble parentage. He spent most of his career in the title insurance industry. Bill started his own successful title insurance related business in the late 1970's. Bill loved working on projects in his workshop, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren making toys for them to take home. The more distant grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss his many happy video calls. He also loved working on and exhibiting his two classic 1950 Plymouth automobiles, which he entered in car shows as far away as Portland OR. Bill was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints where he served faithfully for decades in various capacities. He especially loved working with the youth in the Draper Temple.
