Don Liebes

Don Passed away peacefully at his home, by his family’s side earlier this week.

Don was such a “Unique” Guy, and a good friend.

My first memories of Don was, back in Pocatello and the “Sun Run”

Janice and I had “kidnapped” Charlie Dubos’ dog, Then, sent a ransom note to Charlie..

Next, we seen was a 63 Impala Convert, and a guy proudly sitting in the back seat.

I told Jan and our friends,, MY bet is that was a Cop!

IT WAS, and It was Don Liebes, Badge in hand and wanted to know who the dog-nappers were,

And HE was here to arrest them!

Well, that was way over 30 or so years ago, we have been Friends ever since!

I am surely going to miss Don, My hopes are Diane stops by and visits on ever occasion she can.

(By the way, you should hear this lady sing!!)

Diane, our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to you and your Family.. From all of us,

Your FAMILY OF FRIENDS

Burial will be at the Hyde Park Cemetery in Hyde Park, UT

72 S. 400 E.

My family and I were hoping that anyone who can attend can drive their hotrods, etc.

What we would really like is if they could be at the Hyde Park Cemetery by 12:30

and line the road leading up East from the Open field up the road,

or from the cemetery down the road on either side, or if only a few cars right in the cemetery.

It would be so cool.

My son will be driving Don's '41 Ford Lime Green Coupe in the procession driving there from Richmond.

We will have police escort to the cemetery.

Love,

Dianne Liebes
