We had a very successful crane day today shattering the old record set two years ago for craning boats. We put 52 boats in today in 6.5 hours. INCREDIBLE. The old record was 48 boats in 10 hours. And it was all due to the Great Salt Lake Emergency Response team and the marina community donating their time to make it happen very quickly, efficiently and safely. Crews drove boats, slung boats, drove tractors towing boats, catch boats as they came into docks, and we had volunteers bring food out to feed us. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. And thank you to Laurie Braceras and Yetti (aka Groppel Jr.) for providing breakfast and lunch for the crew! Janet Robins The Safety Consortium 400 W.
