Racers, The Members' Cup Race is scheduled for this Saturday, April 23. This is the second race in the Offshore Series. We will be racing for the following trophies . . . a.. Ric Simmons Trophy: Perpetual trophy awarded to 1st place on corrected time of all yachts racing in the Members Cup offshore event; b.. Shalom Cup: Perpetual trophy awarded to 1st place on corrected time of A-fleet yachts racing in the Members Cup offshore event; c.. Thomas-King Trophy: Perpetual trophy awarded to 1st place on corrected time of B-fleet yachts racing in the Members Cup offshore event; d.. Baty Cup: Perpetual trophy awarded to 1st place on corrected time of C-fleet yachts racing in the Members Cup offshore event; and for points towards . . . a.. Trustees Cup: Perpetual trophy awarded to 1st place based on overall PHRF corrected finishes of all yachts racing in six of the eight offshore events. The skippers' meeting will be held on the patio at 0930. Racing will start at "S" mark at 1100. The RC boat will be Narragansett. The 12-mile course will be S-6-S. A course chart with the course and buoy lat-lon locations is attached as a PDF file. There will be one start. Scoring will be PHRF time-on-time.
