Eardley Spit Cruise is just around the corner now! Our last Eardley Spit cruise had 26 boats participate. Can we beat that? 10:30am skippers meeting followed by a cruise out to Eardley Spit. At noon we will start serving brats and hotdogs in the Coney Island theme (think something like Nathan's famous hotdogs of Coney Island) We will provide the brats and dogs and fixings but side dishes are welcome. For those that do not want our famous Eardley Spit hot dogs, we will reserve grill space so you can cook what you want. Beach games will be set up. Please bring a way to get to the beach from your boat. If you don't have a way, rumor is that Exclusive Excursions will have one of their pontoon boats out there for a few hours to shuttle people. If you want to avail yourself of their services, please do not forget to tip the captains. Paddle boards or dinghies make a great way to get to the beach. So do kayaks. For those that want to spend the night, this is usually a good and well protected anchorage with great sandy bottoms for holding that anchor in place. Water is usually crystal clear and warm this time of year at Eardley Spit. Long-Term forecasts are notoriously unreliable but the forecast for June 8th right now calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 82.
