It is that time of year again. Time for the longest running social at the Great Salt Lake State Park. It is time for the Bottom-of-the-Pit Chili Cookoff! Saturday, December 17th from 11am to 3pm in the Cambria Room (The old Yacht Club Room). This is open to all the marina community, employees and volunteers. It is an open house format. Just show up. No need to RSVP. Bring your best Chili recipe (or other recipe). There will be a contest for Best Tasting, Most Original, and Spiciest. It was great to see such a huge turnout for the Turkey Fest. We had well over 100 people attending. It would be awesome to see another similar turnout. Even if you do not have a recipe don't worry. Come out and enjoy the food anyway. Visit with old friends.
