FYI from Bonneville School of Sailing . . . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FREE WINTER SAILING SEMINARS Sailing Distant Oceans - Long Beach to Catalina Island & Blue-Water Techno Gadgets Come with us to Catalina Island as we revisit our inaugural Catalina Island Adventure Cruise of April 2011. The magic of Catalina was all around us as we walked the street fairs in Avalon, watched paragliders out on the ocean, learned all about "big boat" systems before we headed around the island for some exciting swells and dolphin sightings. Morning sunrise in Two Harbors was increadible as schools of sardines roughed the calm waters and seals and pelicans completed the cycle. Roger Bliss, our Catalina Captain will share some of the techno gadgets he uses when sailing blue-water (ipad, smartphone apps, electronic chart programs, etc.). This will be a great seminar to check out if you would like to join us for our next Catalina Cruise this spring. The seminars will be held at the Utah Lake State Park Visitor's Center.
