So many of the marina community are familiar with Pahoo. Pahoo lived at the marina in his classic 1970's motor home nearly as long as I did. He was a constant fixture at the top of I dock until moving out just shy of two years ago. Pahoo was a camp host and a large part of the marina community for a very long time. Pahoo and I have stayed close and in touch with each other since he moved to Grantsville conversing on a regular basis. I talked to Pahoo last night. He has been in the hospital for a week now with serious health issues and the prognosis is not good at all. He has asked me to communicate with you and give all of you his love, well wishes and blessings. As Pahoo likes to say, his own personal "Life Journey" may soon be coming to an end. He does not plan on giving up but is also looking at reality. I will keep you posted as I learn more. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Dave
I spent a lot of time talking with Pahoo when I was at the marina. His outlook on life was refreshing because it wasn't tied to material things. It was more about the "life journey" and the inward journey to inner peace. I've always been mad about the way he was cared for by the VA. I can only think that they only made his journey more of a JOURNEY. When next you talk to him, say "Hi" for me. On 1/12/2024 1:14 PM, Dave Shearer wrote:
