GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users We have issued a Gale Warning for the Great Salt Lake and the Great Salt Lake Marina Area. Strong winds may develop over the Great Salt Lake this morning and afternoon associated with the approaching storm front and a following cold front. Temperatures will drop significantly with the passing of the cold front. Winds should subside sometime this evening. Large waves are possible as this front approaches.
