I have been talking with Pahoe daily and he has asked me to keep the marina community updated on his journey. The VA has him up-and-moving daily. He has had some serious challenges while there which has slowed his moving to a different facility. The Plan right now is to hopefully check him out of the VA sometime today if they can stabilize his vitals. They would move him to a nursing home in Tooele before starting physical therapy. He isn't sugar coating things and is facing some very serious challenges with no guarantee what the next day holds. I usually do not disclose someone's health info but he asked me to keep all of you posted as he considers this community his family. He has been diagnosed with heart failure with a clot. There are other very serious cardiac issues he is also facing and is not a candidate for surgery at this time. He is very positive and stubborn that he wants to move forward HIS way. I will be on contact him again tomorrow and will get the information on the facility he ends up at as well as any contact information for those that would like to visit him. Dave
