It appears there is a sandbar that has developed inside the mouth of the marina over the last two weeks. The sandbar seems to be soft and many are powering through it. Others are not. Two weeks ago the mouth of the marina was still over 6 feet deep. It is likely this sandbar silting happened due to all the strong north winds and strong current that has happened over the past two weeks. The bar is in just one spot at the turn inside the marina mouth. We are looking at options. It is possible we will not be able to do much until dredging happens late summer/early fall. We are measuring 4.9' at the shallowest in the mouth now instead of 6' I will keep you posted. Dave
