This email is a little late but very important that I send out to thank all that helped pull off the annual Turkey Fest. This event has grown to be the largest event of the season and is no small feat to put on. It takes a week of setting up, a full day of prep, a full day of cooking, and then at least three to four days of cleaning up one greasy, oily mess! Grant and Linda spent the whole week helping to set up, and prep for this event. Chad, Linda, and Chris Cowan spent the day helping to cook all those turkeys and Grant spent another week cleaning up and returning the patio and Cambria room back to looking like an event never happened. And this was one for the record books! The previous record was 165 dinners served and 9 turkeys fried in three hours. This year, we lost track at 200 dinners and we deep fried 12 turkeys in the same three hours with not a bit of meat left over. It was also wonderful to see so many new faces and to see the WHOLE marina community come together. There were others like Emily, Amy and others that helped pull this event off and I thank all of you! Looking forward to next year's turkey fest and hope to see everyone at the Polar Bear Clam Chowder Party. Dave
