GSL/Antelope Slip Renters and Marina Users An absolutely incredible storm. Broke records. And this is good news for Great Salt Lake. Here is where we are now: Percent of precipitation for November to-date: 302% Percent of precipitation for all of November: 108% (we have all our normal precipitation for November and then some extra) Percent of precipitation for the water year (October through May) 151% to-date Percent of precipitation since January 1st: 81% (at was in the 65% range before this storm) Snowpack for the Great Salt Lake Drainage area: 124% Snowpack for the Bear River: 121% (this provides most of the river water to Great Salt Lake Snowpack for the Weber/Ogden: 127% Snowpack for the Provo/Jordan: 128% (was 32% before this storm) If we start the water year out at 0 on October 1st, what date are we at in equivalent normal precipitation? December 2nd! We are ahead of schedule! This is similar to last year's pattern. We did above average for October and November. Then we only did 2% for December. I think that was a fluke. Storms are lined up out there. If we can keep them coming through northern Utah we will have a great winter.
