GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users

We have now thoroughly walked all the docks and have completed a full Storm Damage Report.  There is quite a few boats on it.  Almost all damage is minor but should be addressed.  Dock lines suffered greatly at the marina.  The marina crew tied at least 40 boats back up.  It is time for most everyone to inspect your dock lines and get them replaced if necessary.  You should probably replace dock lines at least once every two years (minimum)

If you have a dinghy on the Yacht Club Dinghy rack, please come out and inspect them.  Make sure they are tied securely to the rack.  Make sure there are no loose items around the rack like masts, centerboards, rudders, etc.  Some of the boats blew partially off the rack.  I cannot guarantee all your loose equipment is still there.  Remember that all this becomes dangerous projectiles during wind storms.

Thank you
