We just came back from Jackson WY and honestly there is so much snow everywhere. In the canyon between Montpelier and Brigham City, the snow was honestly at least 10 feet deep, and often times you couldn't even see the road signs. The Bear River was full and flowing fast - and we haven't even started the runoff season yet. My suggestion to everyone is - if you live an area that could be flooded by the runoff, start getting sandbags ready now - better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them. Woohoo for the marina - this is what we have been praying for! ________________________________ From: GSL-Marina <gsl-marina-bounces@mailman.xmission.com> on behalf of Dave Shearer <dshearer@gslmarina.com> Sent: Friday, March 3, 2017 10:37:28 AM To: gsl-marina@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [GSL-Marina] GOOD NEWS The lake is coming up fast. Four foot draft boats should be able to start getting out of the marina and back onto the lake sometime late next week. You could probably get out now by tipping the boat over a bit. Dredging is barely around the corner now. Dave Dave Shearer Harbor Master Great Salt Lake State Marina Antelope Island State Marina 801-209-9142 [skull and crossbones]
