The Great Salt Lake Emergency Response Team and the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club have set up the dates for their next two Sailing Seminars.

The first one is Saturday, February 22^nd at 10am.  “Buying your first Sailboat”.  Thinking of buying a Sailboat?  Don’t know where to start?  This informative seminar will help you navigate this exciting adventure.  No experience necessary.   What should you know about keeping a boat at the Great Salt Lake Marina?  Presented in conjunction with Great Salt Lake Volunteer Emergency Response Team and the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club.  Please RSVP to harbormaster@gslmarina.com so we know how much literature needs to be printed off and how much lunch to provide.

The second clinic is Sunday, March 8 at 10am (remember Daylight Savings Time Change).  This informative seminar will include tips on Heavy Weather Anchoring, What to do if someone falls overboard (Man Overboard Drills),  DE winterizing your boat and tuning it up for spring sailing,  Heaving to.  Presented in conjunction with the Great Salt Lake Volunteer Emergency Response Team and the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club.  Please RSVP to harbormaster@gslmarina.com so we know how much literature to print off and how much lunch to provide.
