NWS has issued a Wind Advisory for the Great Salt Lake area.

* AFFECTED AREA...SALT LAKE AND TOOELE VALLEY ALONG WITH THE
GREAT SALT LAKE DESERT ALONG AND SOUTH OF I-80.

* WINDS...SOUTH 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...CONTINUING THROUGH THE EVENING AND POSSIBLY INTO
TUESDAY MORNING.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF AT LEAST
31 MPH OR GUSTS OF 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED.

Because of the due southerly nature of this wind we could see gusts stronger than 50mph at the marina.
