GSL Slip Renters.

I have had several responses for Crane Day now.  And there seems to be a common theme of giving everyone ample notice to prepare for trailers, cradles, or boat stands.  So it seems to make the most sense to go ahead and schedule a crane so everyone has a hard date on when they need to have everything prepared.  I can always postpone the crane to a later date if we see a lake that is still rising.

I have studied lake levels out here religiously since 2001.  I feel comfortable that, even if we have already topped out, we should be ok scheduling a crane in the latter half of April and still having the lake drop very little by that date.

So I have schedule a crane day for Thursday, April 23rd with possibly having the cranes also here on Friday depending on the demand.  We can only do about 25 to 30 boats a day and demand is high.

I have also scheduled a Mast Drop Party for Saturday, April 8th so that everyone can help each other drop masts and prepare for the crane.

We will also have a pressure washer on-site on crane day.

Also, the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club will be holding their annual St. Patty’s Social this Saturday at 4:30pm.  The yacht club will provide a traditional St. Patrick’s Day dinner including corned beef and cabbage as well as Irish Soda bread.  They request you bring an appetizer side, or desert to share.  Non-members are welcome but the yacht club is asking for a $5.00 donation.
