So we have some good news for the slip renters and rowers. Well not all the slip renters. The water is back on to the docks except B and D dock. B and D docks have some problems that we will work on this week to repair. It is likely
that breaks will happen on the other docks over the next week or two as this is normal for spring when we turn the water back on. Please report ANY sign of leak as soon as possible so we can address it immediately.
Also PLEASE keep your dock spaces clean. We have some junk and dock boxes that are not to approved code and are encroaching into the main fairway of the dock. Some of this is also potential projectiles in wind events. I am going to single
out one dock in particular. This is I dock. We are expecting a wind event today and tomorrow. And some of your neighbors are beginning to complain about encroachment into the main dock fairway.
APPROVED dock boxes must be black (UV Protection), they must be mounted with stainless lag bolts and washers; and must not hang into the main dock section more than four inches. Hoses should be coiled neatly. And hoses SHALL NOT HAVE
anything but plastic or brass couplers attached to the hose bib on the pedestal. It takes less than a month for an aluminum hose coupler to fuse to our hose bibs.
Hopefully the COVID19 passes soon and we can begin the truly enjoy the marina community again. Stay safe.
