GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users

We issued a Gale Force Warning for the Great Salt Lake Marina area and the Great Salt Lake.

Strong winds are now just building. These winds could exceed 60 knots in the marina area. Winds on some of the islands have already approached 35 knots. This can make for dangerous sailing and paddling conditions.

We are expecting this wind to last at variable strengths until Saturday.

No damage has been observed in the marina at this time.
