Rande, There is an upholstery and canvas shop between Main and State St. called Custom Covers. It’s address is 3555 S. Main but it’s a little hard to find. It’s in the middle of the block and is probably easier to get to from State St. It’s west down the alley on the south side of a business called Lucie’s Seat Covers. Their website is www.sewlong.com. I’ve never had any upholstery done there but they did some canvas repair for me and the price was reasonable. Do I need to be a member of the yacht club? This is the sort of question that I would ask. Someone (local sailor) told my wife about an upholstery shop that does good work at a good price and I am almost sure they said that it was on State Street but I cannot find it. Do you know of a place? Thanks for any help you can offer. Hope all is well.
