Just to follow-up on this you can just sign me up to pull Friday as we talked about Saturday afternoon.

 

Do you think the boats that are pulled Friday will still be close enough to water access?

I’m ok wherever you want my vote to be. We can either pull on May 6th or at the next better time.

 

Thursdays are generally better than Wednesday but it seems like you’re choosing that day anyway so I’m good.

We have had some mechanical situations arise that MAY cause us to delay crane day.

 

Also, with yesterday’s historic record rain, this COULD allow us to postpone crane day if people want to do this and get more sailing in or more time to get your trailers fixed (totally functioning properly) or stands/cradles ready or purchased.

 

If we can fix the mechanical situations we may still be able to do the May 6 crane day.  If not, we may be able to just do a smaller crane day for boats with trailers ONLY.  Or we can postpone the crane day for a few weeks.

 

I am just asking for some opinions here.  I know many say they want to come out now as they have plans elsewhere.  And I have may others that want to postpone as long as possible so they can sail.  I will eventually have to make some decisions knowing there is no perfect decision to accommodate everyone.

 

So, please, just asking for some input right now.

 

Remember, this is a community event, where we all help each other get our boats out.  And it is inevitable that the boats will have to come out soon.
