Dave;
If you don’t have it on your smartphone or tablet ( or PC) , http://www.predictwind.com/ is a great
free (3 day window) to have, for regional wind conditions. I find it amazingly
accurate here on
Good luck with the boat lift.. dry storage and some slips still available at www.scorpionbaymarina.com for some
hot desert sailing while the marina is being dredged.. ;-)

Subject: [GSL-Marina] CRANE DAY -
WIND
Those
participating on Crane Day tomorrow and Friday, we just had an unforcasted
storm pass over with strong winds.
The
forecast for Thursday and Friday is a mixed bag. If we have rain we will
continue. If we start getting strong winds we will have to stop the crane
for the day for safety reasons. That means it could take us into
Saturday, Sunday and even Monday to get all the boats lifted out.
I
am hoping we have enough decent weather Thursday and Friday to get the boats
out. But I cannot control the weather. We will do the best we can
to get the most amount of boats each day.
