GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users

I’m sorry to announce that I must postpone the GSL Pumps field trip this Saturday.

I am still trying to work things out with Union Pacific, located in Omaha, Nebraska

Much of the postponement is my fault.  We had such an incredible demand for this trip (three times larger than any other field trip I have arranged) that I became concerned with the amount of vehicles that would be on the railroad bed at one time.  I should have contacted Union Pacific earlier and gained the needed waivers and clearance from them.  Once I contacted them, we just couldn’t get the clearance in time.

This does not mean the trip has been cancelled.  Just postponed until we can work out the issues with Union Pacific.  Water Rights is still on board and very excited about giving us a tour of the pumps and pump house.

In the meantime, I am working on securing a date to tour Antelope Island, have a picnic out there and conclude with a tour of Hill AFB museum.
