I have been dreading sending this email. I was hoping the lake would continue to rise through the spring but it has not.
We had another bad winter for snowpack. That is a lot of bad winters over the last 25 years.
Dredging is almost around the corner but will most likely only include the main channels in the marina, the mouth of the marina and the main channel out of the marina. That is about all the money there is
and space to put the spoils.
The lake hasn’t started going down yet but it isn’t coming up either. We only came up 1.3 feet this spring instead of the usual 2 feet. It is now a matter of when the lake starts to drop. And this hot wind
isn’t helping things.
I have had some inquiries into having another crane day. It may be a good idea to, once again, pull the deeper draft boats or risk being trapped in your slips until next Spring if the lake comes up enough
to float the boats over to a crane out location.
Please let me know if you are interested in a crane day and getting your boats out soon.
