Deepest condolences to all who knew and sailed with Bryant Pratt. As Catalina owners, we were close friends, comparing boat notes. He really helped me out with my alternator replacement, when we burned out the one on our Catalina 36.

When I was Commodore of the GSLYC, Bry was the steering force for us in the Race Committee, and we shared the duties of committee boats back in the 80s & 90's especially during the 80 Mile races. 

As well, as cancer survivors, Renata and I shared the challenges that Bry faced, wish we could have stayed in touch during our own procedures. 

Wishing Bryant fair winds and safe seas in the great cruise of life. He will be really missed by us ... 😪

Sad news today.  Long time member of the Great Salt Lake community, Bry Pratt, lost his battle with cancer this morning.  Bry was involved in the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club and the short lived Utah Lake Yacht Club.  He owned boats named Naragansett.  He leaves behind his wife, Marta, and son Chris.
