WE ONLY HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT. As most of you know the Executive Appropriations Committee met again on Friday. Dennis Gwythers lobbied all morning long, letting the Legislators know we were there and watching. I emails reporters all morning long. I need everyone to understand we have the DEMOCRATS on our side. The Democrats proposed a budget that included 1.5 million to dredge the Great Salt Lake. The REPUBLICANS shot down the budget – but that does not mean that our issue is dead. What they shot down, was the entire budget the Democrats proposed , not necessarily the line item of the GSL Dredging.
