Ok. Eardley Spit Cruise will be next Saturday, June 27.
PLEASE RSVP if you haven’t already for that date.
There are some important instructions and details about this year’s event. So please read to the end if you are going on the cruise.
- Because of COVID19 restrictions we will not be able to do any organized beach activities. You can go to the beach on your own and do what you want but please practice safe social
distancing, CDC, State and County (Tooele) guidelines while on the cruise and on the beach. Guidelines are attached.
- We will not be able to shuttle people to the beach at all. If you want to go you will have to get there on your own.
- We will not be able to do the usual pot-luck style lunch. We were planning on an elaborate meal this year but with COVID19 restrictions and some produce being much tougher to find
we will only be doing the main course of Brats and Hot Dogs. Sorry about that. Please plan on providing your own side dishes.
- We will not be able to provide plates, utensils or condiments so plan on bringing that yourself and have it on your boat. We will provide Brats or Hot Dogs and buns.
- We will not be able to provide beverages so plan on bringing your own.
- Plan on hauling your own trash out.
- It is likely to be sunny and warm so don’t forget shade and sunscreen.
I hope we can return to a normal beach party next year. This has been a tough year for all of us. See you at Eardley next Saturday.
