Thank you, to all of you that have responded to wanting to put boats back into the marina. I have had so many emails it will take me a few days to respond to all of them. But I will. A couple notes. 1. As much as I totally despise crane day, there are enough of you on stands and cradles that want to go in. That will require cranes. I am working on the logistics for that right now. If I am to be involved we will need to change things up a bit. One point is that the owner of the boat WILL need to be here and arrange for his own help to handle his/her boat. 2. So many people have requested going in with drafts of four feet or more. I just am not ready to pull the trigger on that yet. But if this winter stays up, it may be possible to put four foot drafts or less in. For those that can trailer launch, I would suggest doing so. If you do not want to dunk your trailer but would prefer to crane in, that is fine. Still plan on taking your trailers home. We are just so short on room with all the construction going on right now. No final decision has been made yet but the target date to start renting slips will be around April 15th. I do not plan on renting slips until then due to the shallow water at the ramp, getting buoys back in place, and making sure we have time to check docks over. I don't want this email to sound gloomy because it is not. This is very exciting that we will be able to use the lake again. It may only be for one year. Or maybe this weather pattern will be like 1983-1987. So get excited. Start working on our boats and trailers so that a transition back to water will be seamless. Thanks Dave
