A lot of you saw the "group" letter Fred Hayes sent out today (yes, you all go the same letter) Basically it says they are trying real hard to get the money, but they might not be able to get it all - BS! They have neglected this marina so long, the only thing that will help it and help our boats is to be fully dredged. On the good side - I went to the HB148 Public Lands Rally today - I talked to a lot of people. I approached a lot of duck hunters and got their support. I talked to the Utah Rivers council (that's something we need to address next year). But the thing I was happiest about, was EVERYONE I approached, said "Oh yeah, I've heard about this" - so we have done an amazing job getting the word out. I am preparing packets of info with a copy of the tribune article to go to everyone on the Exec Appropriatiosn Committee this week. I think what we NEED now is face to face contact with these people - so anyone who is willing to go lobby, please please please do so. I am out of town Thursday and Friday - but I can talk you thru the lobbying process, it is easy. We have come this far - let's finish this nonsense! Janet Robins The Safety Consortium 400 W.
