GSL Slip Renters (at least those participating in this Saturdays race and cruise up to Antelope Island)
The lake has been dropping for awhile now this year. There is still enough water in the Antelope Island Marina to accommodate the boats racing and cruising though. But there are some shallow areas..
A dock is the eastern most dock in Antelope Island Marina. B dock is the western dock. It is VERY shallow between the two docks (see attached diagram). You can get around this shallow hump by hugging either A or B dock. Do not go down the center of the two.
Please keep the end of A and B docks free for the deeper draft boats. That is the only place they can get into.
The first third of B dock is all very shallow. A dock is fairly deep.
There are two diagrams attached to this email.
The first shows the marina and the shallow areas.
The second shows the north end of Antelope Island. It shows the finish line for the racers (Egg Island) as well as give coordinates for that buoy. It also shows a couple waypoints to stay west and north of to avoid getting too shallow inside the Buffalo Point Reef Complex.
Have fun this weekend.
