GSL Slip Renters.
I am still waiting to hear about the engineering process for dredging. But I have had several dredging companies talk to me. Some of it is good news. But there is some potentially bad news too. There is a possibility that we will have to have ALL boats removed from the marina for dredging. So I am emailing you now to prepare you for that possibility.
We have a Crane Day Thursday, May 28th. If you have a draft of more than 3.5 feet you need to seriously consider pulling on that day before the lake drops too much that we cannot tow you over to the crane out slip. For those that were here about three weeks ago you know what I mean. It was quite tough pulling some of the boats over to get craned out.
If you do not have stands or trailer or cradle yet I recommend you order them ASAP. They take time to ship or to be built.
If you have not signed up for crane day yet and have a draft over 3.5 feet please do so now. Also keep in mind that we may run out of room in the parking lot to store boats on-site after this next crane day. Once we run out the only choice will be to take your boats home or to another storage facility.

Some of you have already reserved a spot for crane day but did not include the above info. It is needed so that we can keep the crane day running as safely and smoothly as possible.
I will keep all of you posted on dredging info as it develops. I hope whomever wins the bid that they can dredge successfully and deep enough without removing all the boats.
