After a long wait, we finally got our supplies to start replacing the buoys in the Deep Channel.  The existing buoys are very old, faded with lights that don’t work.

Starting tomorrow we will start replacing the first three buoys.  The new buoys will have working lights again!

Please just give us a bit of room around the rescue boat as we set the buoys.

We are waiting for the next shipment of chain and light mounts before we can change out the rest of the navigation buoys as well as Miera and Eardley danger buoys.  We hope to have the second round of this project completed by the end of next week.
